My experience with Snapfish has been mediocre. The prints were not very sharp, even versus drugstore prints. Another problem is that if you have film to send in, you need to send in an order form with the number of prints you want. Then they send you an e-mail asking you which pictures and number of prints you want. If you reply, you may get a double order; they do not tell you if your order will be filled anyway. My credit card has about 4 different charges on it, but Snapfish assured me I was only charged for 1 order, with the remainder for advance prints. I am not secure that they are keeping track of how many prints I have ordered/advance prints purchased, etc. In addition, there is no way to use the promo coupons if you mail in your order, as you can only do it if you download digital pictures. If I could find a local place that has not stopped developing film, I probably would do so.
I will NEVER use snapfish again. I placed a simple order of 40 postcards and over 22 days later, still no postcards. After several inquiries, and calling 800#'s forwarded to India. I got nowhere. I am still with no product and asked to "please wait a few more days". They have poor customer service and even more so poor service all together. I will never utilize their service again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone.
Might try it again. I tested it and the prints were very good and arrived quickly. A few prints were bit light compared to ones I tested from walmart photolab (I like because you can do matte finish), but overall good color and tones comparatively. Much better than myphotoalbum.com which had bad definition and yellowish tones. I'm in the process of doing my own test w/ a few here including kodak.com. It would be interesting to have people review who have used sites over a period of time to see if prints are consistent.
