RitzPix is an old and respected name in photography; unfortunately, we were not impressed with their prints and the ordering process could be easier.
Uploading photographs was easy and relatively painless. However, we got a little lost when trying to add photos to an existing album. For some reason the “add photos” link is listed in the right navigation box and not directly on the view screen. The navigation could quickly become frustrating for some users.
To test for quality, we sent the same digital photos to all of the online photo developers we reviewed.
Note: To check quality, we took each set of prints received from the online photo developer and laid them down side-by-side for comparison.
RitzPix.com offers the ability to print camera phone images and have unlimited storage as long as you sign-in once every six months. We also liked the print quality scale provided. It allowed to you evaluate which photographs would be appropriate in which print size.
We found that RitzPix offered a comprehensive selection of gift options including mugs, mousepads, keychains and games.
Our prints came in a standard paper photo folder with a lightweight, cardboard insert, wrapped a rigid, cardboard envelope.
We gave each photo developing service between 1 to 6 business days to send us our completed prints; RitzPix's took 4 days to get our prints back. They arrived with most of the others.
RitzPix offers much in the way of support. A FAQs page is full of questions and answers, along with many additional avenues of customer service. A live chat function is available as well as phone and email support lines, though the live chat is limited to technical issues and not open for general questions.
RitzPix's digital photo printing service has a great reputation; however their website just doesn’t demonstrate that reputation. The site seems old, dated and difficult to navigate.
