Printroom.com is our #12 online digital photo developer.
Printroom.com's uploading photo process was not as smooth as many others. Computer novices may get lost and have to do some backtracking while doing so.
Once you're photos are uploaded, there are many options available to you before you place your order, such as Auto Correcting for Contrast & Color as well as many cropping options like Pan Left/Up, Center, Pan Right/Down and Add White Borders.
Printroom.com did a fairly good job on the photos we sent them–see comments below:

Note: To check quality, we took each set of prints received from the online photo developer and laid them down, side-by-side for comparison.
When it comes to the smaller prints Printroom.com struggles to compete with other sites. As you progress upward in size, this service's prices do become more and more competitive.
Another hit Printroom.com took was for their minimum order amount. There is a $ 5.00 minimum amount associated with each order. They are one of the few sites we visited that has a minimum amount.
Printroom.com shines a little brighter in their offerings of special gifts such as their mouse pads, t-shirts, baseballs, hockey pucks, luggage tags, magnets, and more
Although they don't offer nearly as many choices of basic services compared to other sites, like: photo books, CD archiving, note books, business cards, postcards etc.
Printroom's shipping costs for shipping us five 4 x 6 inch prints were $2.95, the actual postage for USPS First Class was $.83, leaving $2.12 for packaging and handling. This total shipping cost was much higher than the majority of online photo developing centers we looked at.
Printroom.com has a minimum fee for small orders and relatively high shipping costs making it hard to compete with others price wise. Also, our prints came in a lightweight, cardboard sleeve inside a rigid, cardboard envelope.
We gave each photo developing service anywhere from 1 to 4 days to send us our completed prints; Printroom.com met that requirement.
Printroom.com boasts digital services for professional photographers, and as this may well be very true, the average person who wants basic prints will not want to pay these prices when they can get cheaper prices elsewhere. Even if quality is better at Printroom.com price is still a huge issue with the general public.
